Hello lovely people!
So this is a little series I plan to keep up on my blog,
posting what I’ve adored and obsessed over that particular month. Whether it be
beauty related, a new item of clothing I can’t stop wearing, or what I’m
currently reading/watching too much,
this is where you’ll find it. So go ahead – be nosey!
I am totally head over heels for this beauty. By far the
best foundation I’ve tried in a while, and even overtaking my beloved Sheer
Glow by Nars, I have reached for this almost daily throughout January since it
launched. It’s lightweight, long lasting and leaves the most beautiful, healthy
glow to the skin. I can’t get enough!!
This loose setting powder is a cult favourite over in the
United States. At a “drug store” price, but with a high-end finish, I can now
see why so many people in the beauty community rave about this little gem. My face
has never looked smoother since using this, it brightens my under eye area like
a dream, and keeps my make up looking tip-top all day. It is strongly
fragranced, however, if you can make it past the intense floral scent – you won’t
regret it.
Don’t be fooled by this products tiny size, because its' pigment
packs a punch. I purchased shade #13 halfway through the month and I'm OBSESSED
with how blinding this is. I can tell that this is going to last me a month of Sundays
too, as you only need the teeniest bit to add a pop to your make up. I’ve been
using it the most to highlight the inner corner of my eye, and also my brow
bone.
I received this as a lovely Christmas present from my Mum
and Dad and have definitely been getting my use out of it. The smell is so
fresh and inviting and I adore coming home and my room smelling of this! Also a
little tip to get your moneys worth, when it’s finished I plan on cleaning the
jar out and using it to keep bits and bobs in, as it’s a much nicer way of storing
make up brushes or cotton buds on your dressing table.
Oh. My. Goodness. Bates Motel, where do I start? Yes, I’m
pretty late to the bandwagon but what the hell. My pal Aimee told me I had to
watch this and she made a pretty sound case as to why I would like it. I had a
couple of days off so gave it a whirl and got HOOKED. Seriously, I finished all
4 seasons in something like 2 weeks. This series is about a mother and son who
have a very odd, and close relationship. They move to a new house and start up
a Motel business in a really seedy town where odd things happen. Norman, the
son, suffers with blackouts – in which he turns in to a twisted alter ego, and
cannot remember the various unspeakable things he has done during this state.
If you seriously like your drama’s and something with a bit of a twist in every
episode, you’ll love it. Give it a try, you can always turn it off!
That’s me done for a month, so I’m off to find new things to
lust and obsess over that I can share with you in February! Let me know what
new discoveries you’ve enjoyed this month.
